Original text
———————
When I lie in bed in the evening / sometimes I feel lonely / I look at the moon and remember / sunny days are only / one short sleep away
When the stars can’t shine through the darkness / When the sky is cloudy / I turn on a light in my bedroom / Cozy glow surrounds me / like the Milky Way
When the sun shines brighter and brighter / ‘til my eyes are blinded / I find gentle shade and I rest there / smiling absentminded / through a perfect day
When it feels like no one can hear me / even when I’m calling / I raise up my voice to the treetops / ‘til the leaves start falling / fifty miles away
When I lie in bed in the evening / sometimes I feel lonely / I look at the moon and remember / sunny days are only / one short sleep away
